American Flyer S Scale Christmas Cars (1 of 2)
Every year since 1990, Lionel has issued a Christmas or Holiday car under the American Flyer name. I started collecting them in the fall of 2005 and completed my collection in the summer of 2008.  Therefore, all pictures on these pages are from the collection of The Upstairs Train.  All I need to do now is buy the new ones that come out each Fall!

Because there are so many, I have split them up over two web pages:

Unlike other pages of the Gallery, this one is organized by year rather than catalog number.  It seems to make more sense for these cars.  Click here to see a complete list of these cars by the year they were made..  The list includes a description, year, and other details, plus a link to the Gallery page that contains it.  Other lists provided are as follows:

Catalog number list: A list of Christmas Cars by catalog number.

Car number list: Sometmes the number on the car is not the number of the car.  If you have a car, but aren't sure about its catalog number, look it up in this list.

Show me the rest of the Christmas cars.
Put some of them together, and you have a wonderful train to go around your Christmas tree!
Until I get one of the Christmas engines, my Franklin with its green and yellow motif does nicely.
